so on a whim I bought this acrylic at Walmart. Found in the craft section, it's Apple barrel paint made by Plaid (plaidonline.com/home). It dries smooth, isn't clumpy and I got 16 colors for about 4 bucks. If you're broke, I'd try them. I'm broke, so I'm trying them. I'm still using expensive washes and inks though.
Just thought I'd throw this up there for people who have models, but can't afford GW or Vallejo paint.
