So the next tournament will probably take place in spring or summer, with the NAF tournament either replacing or wedged in somewhere along the way. Here's a chance to share your tournament ideas with the rest of the league. It also helps know what the majority may like, that maybe has been missed. Helps us refine and become a more professional league.

Well, for me personally after the 2nd game in the last one I really wanted to play a 3rd game and see where I was going to rank. Got my first win and had 4 guys skill up and I wanted to see how nasty a front line was gunna get when I had 2 trolls with guard and 4 of my gobbs with side step. If the tourny calls for 3 games and Im paying a fee to play..... Win or loose... I want my 3 games or Iwant some $ back. eithor time limit the games or move it to a place or day that allows for all 3 games to get played. I have gotten "Kicked in the teeth" awards at the con before playing in the fantasy tourny. Its not that I didnt try, Its that I had a really hard army to play with. my point is I still had fun and even though I lost horrabaly I did get an award, I think it was an insentive to keep even the loosers intrested.
Thats my $0.02
See you all on the pitch!!

How many people do you get for an average tournament? I have a small store that I can keep open for longer hours for a tournament if you need a place to play. We might be able to get 16 comfortably.

Hmmm. 8 is what I try to have as a minimum. I doubt we'd have more than 12 for most of the local tourneys we run. Going to slot the NAF tourney for 40, but still looking for a economical location for that.
What kind of store do you have? Where is it located? Being able to start our local tourneys at 9 rather than 11 would be a huge help. Especially if we could run it until 7 or so.
