We may just take you up on that Hobbs, more hands would lighten the load. Guess I can't put a logo up on here but I just posted it to the Facebook page, check it out.

Is this another tourny where I get to pay to play all but my last game , because Im not in the final round so it dosent matter? and there is no final standings to look over because only the top 2 got all there games in?

Not if you're playing me! I'll stay in for the third though it will be doubtful that I'll be in the final 2. I suppose there's always the chance that somebody will bag it, but we're going to be mixing things up, trying to even out the teams a bit and throwing some curveballs in. Should be a good time.

I am just giving feedback on the last tourny... I paid for all the rounds but my last game was snuffed because "it dosent matter" Id like to see where everybody ends up in the final standings. Ive played in alot of tournys in my times and reguardless of where im at I get ALL my games in, no matter the standings. thats how people get the "Kicked in the Teeth" awards. dosent matter where your at (in standings) you ALWAYS get your last game in.
Not trying to cause problems just saw this as an oppertunity to voice my opinion.

Frog, Most tournaments are geared towards all rounds being played. I'll be honest, I had no idea some people were told not to play their last game in the last tourney, as you're right, everyone should know how they fared overall. A lot of tourneys will have the "Wooden Spoon" award for the last place team that played in all round (that is, the people who didn't drop out for one reason or another). I've played in tourneys where there were 8 prizes for various things like winner, runner up, most TDs, most CSs, best painted, wooden spoon, most fouls, etc. That's extreme, but it does happen. I've always advocated for all games to be played in a tourney mostly because I want to see how my team is going to perform.

We'll set rules next week. We're going to see how things go at Orclahoma and may steal a few ideas, or may not, if they break things too much. Should be interesting...

Looking forward to the tourney since I will not be able to make Orclahoma this year after all.
I'm also willing to help get things going, just let me know what kind of help you guys need.
-Frank (and yes I feel bad that I contributed to the derailment of the thread)

Guys,
Are you planning on making this an NAF event? If so it needs to be submitted in relatively shortorder.
This is the info I got a few years ago about setting up a NAF sanctioned event: Tournament requirements, 1. It has to be an open event, anyone should be allowed to come and play in the tournament. 2. The rules pack should be available somewhere online. 3. The tournament should be listed on the NAF site 60 days in advance of the first day of the tournament, and approved at least 30 days in advance. 4. You must advertise the tournament in at least three different places. (This can be the NAF forums, TBB, and a local Game store)
Let m know if you guys need any help with anything.

If #3 is still true then we've already missed the deadline.
