Welcome to the Pitch Masters Blood Bowl Club
We are a group of Blood Bowl fanatics, our goal is to spread the word about Blood Bowl and score touchdowns! We are looking for people who want to play and have a great time.
Blood Bowl is a great game that does not require expensive books, hundreds of dice, or a shopping cart to drag around all the gear you need to play. The Living Rule Book 6 is available on the Internet, you only need 3 special dice and 2 D6, and a team.
Rookie teams will start at 1 million gold coins and any differences in Team Values will be made up for in inducements. Games generally run around 2 to 2 ½ hours and we will have a number of scheduled game nights each month. We have a core group of players from all over the Front Range, getting a game or two in should not be a problem. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Craig at misterhobbs@yahoo.com to set up an account on the www.stuntyleeg.com site.
We hope to see you on the Pitch!!!
PMBBL House Rules 8-1-13
Rule number 1- Don’t be a douche. As a group, we will not tolerate any douche behavior, this includes temper tantrums, name calling, etc. We are a group of adults playing a game, please keep that in mind!
We will leave this up to the Coaches to monitor, but if the behavior is repeated or of a serious nature, you could be asked to leave the league. Remember this is a game.
Rules Set - Currently we use the LRB 6 unless otherwise noted in this Document. Including the Blood Bowl Leagues, Playing League Matches, and Inducements sections. We use only the Special Play Cards in the Optional League Rules.
New Teams – We have adopted the new Chaos Pact, Slann, and Underworld teams.
MVP – We use the “Optional League Rules - Awarding the MVP during the Post-Game” Option 2. This means that Dead Players, Star Players, Mercenaries and new Rotters are not eligible for the MVP. Journeymen and new Skeletons “Raised from the Dead” by Necromancers are eligible for the MVP.
Apothecary – Strictly as printed in LRB 6
Additional Inducements - You can take the following inducements in addition to the standard inducements:
• Cheerleader 20K per (3 max)
• Assistant Coaches 20k per (3 max)
On-line Blood Bowl Manager Program -- All coaches are expected have access to the On-line Blood Bowl manager web site. (www.stuntyleeg.com then select Denver League) Coaches should check the site on a regular basis to verify their team statistics, in the season database. This site will also maintain a copy of your current rosters. Coaches also need to check the Pitch Masters Blood Bowl Club League web site (www.pitchmasters.boards.net) on a regular basis for announcements, to contact other coaches, coaches seeking games, dates and times of scheduled Club nights and any possible voting. If this isn’t possible, coaches need to make other arrangements to have another coach help you. Results should be recorded on the Results sheet (there is a match report that you can print from the Stuntyleeg site. It's under PLUGINS > PDF Match Report) and once you have completed your game, please send the results to Craig at, misterhobbs@yahoo.com Craig will update the Stuntyleeg site.
Regular Season Over Time - NO OVERTIME in regular season league games- the game is a draw
Multiple Same Team Match Ups – Two Coaches cannot play the same two teams in consecutive games during the regular season. No one team can play the same team more than three times in the course of a single regular season.
Scheduling of games -- Coaches will set up their own games. Club nights are a great place to get games in, or you can email another coach and play them. This is your Club, play whomever, whenever, where ever. No coach is required to play another coach during the season, but match-ups in the play-offs are required to be played or you forfeit your play-off position.
Throw In’s Clarification - Place the ball icon, on the throw in template, on the square the ball was last in regardless of the direction the ball left the pitch.
Wild Animal Clarification - A coach may choose to use his blitz on a wild animal to get the 2+ movement even if the player doesn’t throw a block, but it does use your Blitz for the turn.
Season Winner Re-Roll - Each season there will be a re-roll awarded to the playoff champion. This can only be used the following season, on the team that was used to win the season. If the Coach chooses not to play this team or is not allowed to play the team due a themed season the Re-Roll is lost to the team. This Re-Roll counts towards the Team Value during that next season.
Week of Rest - We grant a week of rest between the last regular season game and the first playoff game and between the last playoff game and the first game of the following season. This removes all Miss Next Games on the roster.
Playoffs Qualification - A coach may play as many teams as he/she wants during the regular season but may only take one team to the playoffs. The team has to have played a minimum of 4 games in that season and a maximum of 20 games in that season to qualify for the playoffs. Only games played after a team is out of the previous seasons playoffs count towards this number, those played before are just more experience for the team.
End of Regular Season – All games much be completed by midnight on the last day of the season to count for playoff seeding.
Playoff Seeding – The Commissioners will set the schedule of who will play who. If you choose not to play your playoff game, that game is forfeited and you will be dropped from the playoffs.
Teams gain the following points during a single season for playoff seeding:
5 Pts = Win
3 Pts = Draw
1 Pt = Loss
Ties during the playoffs -- Coaches will play 1 full half of OT, (8 turns each player.) The coach with the highest total points scored during the game and OT is the winner. If the game is still a tie at the end of OT it is a draw.
Seeding Tiebreakers Regular Going into Playoffs and during the Playoffs - If teams are still tied after seeding point are totaled, the following tie breakers are applied in order:
1. Season Head to Head record
2. Season TD Differential
3. Season Casualty Differential
4. Coin Toss
This is a perpetual Club/League. All SPPs count and are carried over season to season. If you have a team that sits out a full season, (meaning no games played) they will reset to 1 million gold coins.
All new teams will start at 1 million gold coins. Inducements will make up the differences between rookie teams and experienced teams.
**** If you are playing a team from last season, email a PDF version of your roster to Craig
*%*% If you had a fully painted team last season, you get to keep your free re-roll
If you have a fully painted team this season, you get a free re-roll
