Here's what we have so far.
Thursday night would be league night at Mythplaced Treasures.
5 pm to Close.
We have to all meet at some point to lay down the rules and get all teams bought and set up.
For matches, if you can't make league night, both you and your opponent would have to work out another time to meet and play. The match can take place anywhere both agree to. After the holidays regular time frame to get a match played is 2 weeks. If it starts to become a problem, we can always extend that.
Putting up a poll as to when the league should start. (Before or after holidays). If we start before the holidays, matches 1 and 2 will have 6 week times each to get played.
I'll bring a league signup to the tourney on the 11th.

Everyone meeting will be tough, only because people tend to have crazy schedules. I think if we have a starting point of house rules, and vote on them online, the same amount of work can be done for the league. Non-weekends will be tough for me as I travel for work and MPT is 40 miles from my house.
I would vote for starting the league officially after the holidays but I would like to get a few games going on some teams I want to test out.
I will post my list of what I'd like to see a bit later. Also you may want to better link the two message boards together or something.

Im fine with the 2wk rule as long as exceptions are made... Mr hobbs- If I cant make the 40mile drive or even meet you half way due to life... what then? or if the only time I can meet you and you cant meet me.... the distance from our common local concerins me. If your 30min from my house and you or I cant get to a halfway point after 3 weeks how do we resolve that? I know this is worst case scerino but baced on the last 3 league seasons Ive been in.... short of postponeing the whole league another week.... are we both to take a bye and just be out a game or what? This question is as much for you as it is to the league commissioner.

The league is based in the Denver metro area, therefore people outside that area that want to play in the league need to make arrangements to be able to play in or near the Denver metro area. Other than that, we'll have to cross the bridge when we come to it, so to say.

If I can make it from downtown to MPT with no car for a Bloodbowl game, then everyone else should be able Tomas well.

P.s. I'm ok with whatever day we all choose, I just need the heads up so I can request that day off. Weekends, unfortunately, aren't the best for me because of my job (Bartending), but I'll conform to what the consensus is.

We can do everything through this forum. I just thought it was a good idea to have a "league" night. As long as we can all get our games played, there is really no need to meet. Once we have 8 coaches signed up, we can start the league.
